Senior Recruiter

DeepSource is working on building tools that help developers ship good code. There are over 40 million developers globally, and all of them write and review code in some form. There's a massive opportunity to impact how software is built from where the code is written using automation and intelligence, improving developer productivity and increasing the software's robustness.

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Recruiter who will be responsible for driving the way we recruit top-of-class engineering talent to shape the company journey and growth. You will be responsible for planning and executing the organizational talent acquisition strategy for all critical roles at DeepSource. As part of the recruiting team, you will devise methods to identify and attract the best engineering talent to work at DeepSource. As a key member of the team, this is an exciting opportunity to shape and build a unique approach to attracting technical talent for DeepSource!

Responsibilities

  • Consults with and advises hiring managers on sourcing strategies, accuracy of job and profile requirements, candidate pools, labor market data and anticipated time to fill, screening process and job offer.
  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting (primarily technical recruiting), including job posting, phone screening, job interviews, assessing candidates for current job openings and long-term potential for future roles, determining job and organizational fit, ensuring inclusiveness, reference check process, etc. for all hiring positions. Provides consultation and talent acquisition support for complex roles.
  • Act as an advocate for candidates throughout the hiring process; establishing regular touch points and providing diligent follow through resulting in a best in class candidate experience.
  • Manages the use and data integrity of the talent acquisition system to record/track applicants in staging, applicant status, declinations, offers and on-boarding.
  • Assist in the design and development of short-term and long-term workforce plans (including employment branding ideas) and talent needs recommending approaches to address, including developing and effectively placing internal talent.
  • Network to position DeepSource as the employer of choice for top talent. Sustains relationships with key talent and the people who can connect us to them. Maintain relationships with talented people who may be candidates for future openings.
  • Mentors other TA team members helping them build skills and develop professionally to more effectively serve business needs through talent acquisition.
  • Develop tools and resources for managers to support effective recruiting and selection including researching, recommending and implementing creative recruiting plans for specific job families as needed. Facilitates and/or designs manager and employee training programs.

Minimum requirements

  • 5-7 yrs of experience in technical hiring for senior and mid level positions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, hyper-growth Tech start-ups or SaaS companies
  • Researches and screens potential candidates by using referral tools like LinkedIn, ATS, referrals, and job boards for recruiting
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to rapidly develop and cultivate relationships with peers, partners, and key influencers
  • Ability to source talent through social media channels and other networking activities
