Support Engineer

As and more developers and teams adopt DeepSource, ensuring a seamless user experience becomes critical for our success. As a support engineer, you will act as the bridge between our customers and internal engineering teams. You will help our customers resolve issues, maintain support playbooks/runbooks and co-ordinate with the customer to solve product and technical issues.


  • Proactively solve technical issues for our customers.
  • Triage and manage technical issues faced by customers or customer-facing teams, ensuring that issues are resolved within the defined SLAs.
  • Reproduce customer issues, and file comprehensive bug reports to the respective engineering teams.
  • Develop runbooks and customer-facing documentation to improve the speed and efficiency of repeated tasks.
  • Automate repeated queries and tasks using internal tools.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a developer in a customer-facing role.
  • Skills in software engineering and programming experience in a modern programming language.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You are relentlessly customer-focussed and enjoy helping customers.

Note: DeepSource has a global customer base; This role follows a rotation schedule of 8 AM - 4 PM - 12 AM - 8 AM IST.
